The Good Samaritan

The story of the Good Samaritan highlights the Christian belief in the importance of loving your neighbor. It's the story a traveler who is beaten and left for dead by the roadside. The first passersby who approach him refuse to help—it's only the Samaritan, perhaps the least likely person to offer assistance, who shows the man kindness.
